LPG dispensers use multiple safety mechanisms to prevent leaks, overpressure, or explosions. These include automatic shut-off valves, pressure relief devices, grounding systems, and emergency stop buttons. Each component plays a role in maintaining safe operating conditions.
During fueling, the dispenser constantly monitors pressure levels. If abnormal pressure or gas leakage is detected, the system immediately cuts off the flow. Operators can also manually stop fueling using emergency buttons located on or near the dispenser.
Regular maintenance and inspection further enhance safety. Stations are required to test seals, valves, and connections to ensure they remain airtight and reliable under all conditions.
