KOLOR KUT water-finding paste (85g/3ozs) is a golden-brown paste, which will turn bright red when it comes into contact with water. It is applicable to the measurement of water content in all petroleum products, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, ammonia water, soapy liquid, table salt and chlorides.
Instructions for using KOLOR KUT water-finding paste: Apply a thin layer of the water-finding paste on the scale surface of the clean copper weight of the oil dipstick or on the surface of other measuring tools (with graduated glass) and cover the entire scale surface. Put the copper weight of the oil dipstick into the bottom of the oil tank. The water-finding paste will change color immediately when it encounters water in gasoline, diesel oil, or kerosene. For testing in heavy oil, it will take a slightly longer time.
KOLOR KUT oil-finding paste (62g/2.25ozs) is a bright pink paste, which will turn bright red when it comes into contact with gasoline, diesel oil, naphtha, kerosene, crude oil, aviation kerosene and hydrocarbons. The usage method of the oil-finding paste is the same as that of the water-finding paste.
